MapleSEA v0.63 - Malaysia Extension Map
"Yeah, you see, I knew it will be extended!", MapleSEA players, you wanted to say that? Yeah, as expected, the Malaysia map is extended, it's a theme park.
First of all and overall, the level of the monster, it's quite high, but not the highest, like something for those above level 100.
Entrance of the theme park is located at the right side of the Hisbiscus Road 3, a picture tells a million words, so let's look at my thousands of words:
The first map, a cable car station. No, you don't have to wait 10 or 30 minutes for the cable car, it's just a portal.

MapleSEA v0.63 - Halloween
MapleSEA has been updated to v0.63. This is another big update of MapleSEA which introduces a lot of new things. Here is the notice from MapleSEA website (a very long one thus I shorten it):

1. You can jump straight from the platform to the lower level by pressing [↓] & [jump] key at the same time.

9. Some of the 4th job skills are adjusted.
- For Dark Knight: Beholder's Buff delay has decreased.
- For all Warriors: Monster Magnet gage has implemented. Number of Mobs to draw near will vary by the gauge.
- For all Magicians: You can move while charging the gage of Big Bang.
- For Crossbow Master: You can move while charging the gage of Piercing.
- For all Thieves: Number of Mobs you can attack by Showdown has increased.
- For Paladin: Sanctuary delay has decreased.
- For Dark Knight: Berserk HP condition has increased.
- For Crossbow Master: Sniping delay has decreased.

Hacked, who to blame?
Well, I'm hacked, lose 20 millions mesos, not a huge amount though.
Weird thing is only the mesos on one of my chracter is gone, other things remain untouched. Sigh...
I thought I am being aware enough, for never visit hack/buy/sell mesos websites, for scanning my computer for viruses and malwares frequently, for not downloading suspicious file, for deleting browsing history/cache frequently, still, I can't avoid from being hacked~
What's with this mass hacking in MapleSEA? When will it end?
I hope Asiasoft will do something about it, I really hope they indeed will.

Maplers care
MapleSEA is currrently holding a fund-raising drive for Muscular Dystrophy Association of Singapore (MDAS).
It starts from 3rd September 2008 till 8th October 2008. Within this period, there will be three cash items specially designed for this activity available in the Cash Shop which are MDAS Hat, MDAS Weapon and MDAS Shoes. The sales from these items will go directly to MDAS.

Malaysia @ MapleSEA!
A new exclusive map (well, at least it's exclusive at this moment.) is released in MapleSEA - Malaysia, on 1st September, one day after the national day of Malaysia - 31st August.
Malaysia maps contain two towns, this is the Trend Zone Metropolis, much like the capital of Malaysia - K.L.(Kuala Lumpur) where the K.L.C.C. Twin Towers and the K.L. Tower can be seen.

Visitng Krexel the Big Fat Tree
I have been very inactive in Maple Story, the last time my character level up was.... January or February?
Logged in recently and went for a Krexel fight with guildmates yesterday without knowing anything about Krexel, guided and helped by my friend all the way for the entry quest, haha~ Thank you James~

MapleSEA v0.55

According to the notice from the offcial website of MapleSEA, there is now a patching process on MapleSEA.
Seems like there are two BIG highlights for this v0.55 patch:
- Monster Carnival - like what mentioned in the previous post.
- New Maple Weapons! Most probably the lv.35 and 43 Maple Weapon series can be upgraded to the level 64 series. Maple Weapons hunting spree is coming back!
Judging from the time needed for the update, this is a quite big patch, so let's hope no bug is included.

Monster Carnival on MapleSEA

There have been 2 months since the implementation of Monster Carnival on GMS and now it is going be implemented on MapleSEA. According to the notice from the official website of MapleSEA, Monster Carnival will be arriving at MapleSEA on 14th May.
Monster Carnival is a party quest where 2 parties will compete against each other. It is made for players of level 30 to 50, that means it fixed the gap of level 31~34 which no party quest is available.

Maple Trading System
Recently, GMS(Global Maple Story) is updated with a new trading system - Maple Trading System. Refer to the picture above. (Source of image: Global Maply Story official website, maplestory.nexon.net)
This system has been implemented in JMS(Japan Maple Story) and TMS(Taiwan Maple Story) before it arrives at GMS. It is a system that allows players to buy or sell in-game items with cash(like how you buy cash items in Cash Shop) and trades can be done across servers.

Singapore extension map
Singapore exntension map has been released on MapleSEA with its v0.53 patch. Maybe it will be released in other versions of Maple Story in the future but for now it is only available in MapleSEA. I will call it "Ulu Area" as the naming of those maps are based on the word "Ulu".
I have grab some screenshots of the "Ulu Area", see below.
The damage done by the monsters on me are based my weapon defense of 429 and the amount of HP they have is roughly estimated by me thus maybe inaccurate.
The entrance to the "Ulu Area" is located at the Suburban Area 2 (The Truck area) of Singapore.

The skill macro function
The skill macro function is added into MapleSEA with its v0.53 patch which is released today, 8th April 2008. I just login to play with this new function and it is fun! Below is the UI of the skill macro function, just click the "macro" button at the bottom right of the skill window to access it.

I am a MapleSEA* player and my character is a Dark Knight in Cassiopeia server.
Start of Maple Tale
Suddenly think of create a blog about Maple Story but I don't really know what I want to write in this blog, for now, I will just put in random stuffs related to Maple Story.
First of all, if you don't know what is Maple Story, it is the first 2D MMORPG ever and it is currently one of the most popular online games which is available in many regions, eg. Japan, South East Asia, China, America, Europe, etc.
