MapleSEA V0.87

MapleSEA (Or you would like to call it MapleSEA / Maple Story Episode 2) is going to be v0.87 soon, the official website has published the news. Let's see what are the updates this time.



The main updates of this patch seems to be the Mushroom Castle quests which are designed for players from lv.30 to 38 and the launch of Monster Survival. Quote from the update notice:

Mushroom Castle can be accessed from the portal found on the map ‘An Empty House’ in Henesys.
Wanna try out exciting quest in easier way? Not to worry! Once you reach level 30 or make 2nd job advancement, you will be guided to move to the Mushroom Castle automatically.
Venture deep into the Mushroom Castle and you will be able to find more fascinating monsters and NPCs. Remember your aim in this mission in Mushroom Castle: Rescue the Princess!

Hmm... Saving the princess? Mushrooms? Sounds like Mario to me.


The Monster Survial quest will be made available starting from 1st January 2010. There are currently two types of Monster survival:

• Mr Lim and the Subway - for level 25 - 30.
  
• Mysterious Pyramid - for level 40 - 60.

Judging from the screenshot, it probably will look like Dragonica's Hero Quest where you fight through stages with different level of difficulty. Your performance will be rated and rewards are given according to your grade / rank.
